The frigidaire affinity is a well made clothes washer but even it can break over time.
When i emailed parts pros and asked if could be the mother board they said just to change the swtich.
So i did what i seen on here and checked the striker then replaced the door lock switch.
The first thing to try is to push in on the door a little and see if it will unlock.
The release is normally accessible from below the door lock or on some models from inside the soap dispenser housing.
If the door or lid won t open at the end of the cycle then the lock mechanism may be at fault.
The lock on the washer has three parts any of which can malfunction.
